Our Mission
Family Artifacts and Cultural Exchange was created in 2002 for the purpose of making
family history easier for African Americans. Since then, we have created a large database of
genealogical resources and information to help locate and document African Americans and their families.
The Family Artifacts you collect for your family tells your family's
story and documents their lives.
The Cultural Exchange allows researchers to share their findings
with you for a nominal fee. That way everyone wins. Dedicated researchers who tirelessly document
African American records can continue their work through an exchange process. All you have to do is
locate your family's information and then select it for download for a small fee.
Many of the artifacts here, however, are free and part of the public domain.
Many skilled researchers have contributed to our network to provide you with a better research experience.
